Honeybee Beauty: Classic Red Lip

With Valentines Day a week away I had to do the infamous classic red lip! There are way to many different shades of red in my lipstick drawer but Russian Red by Mac is definitely one of my favorites!  Here is a classic look I did using Russian Red and Brick lipliner also from Mac. I have to admit it felt nice for this mama to get all glammed up! ;)

  19. Red lips look great on you! I've never had the confidence to wear a full on red like what you are wearing here but am curious to try out Russian Red. My favorite "red" lips is Chanel Rouge Allure in "Sexy" with MAC Half Red lip liner. BTW - LOVE your earrings!

  23. Love your beauty posts! I wear a red lipstick shade by MAC called Chili with their Brick lip-liner. I haven't tried Russian Red yet but will on my next trip to the MAC store. I swear my lipstick collection is almost worth more than my life, lol.

  29. You pull of a red lip so flawlessly! I have that same lip combo, but have only worn it a few times...I still have yet to become completely comfortable rocking the red lip.

    1. thanks love...I actually use NYC liquid liner. I used Macs for years but love this one just as much and its only around $3! As for the earrings they were actually a score from a vintage shop back east!

Gorgeous, i love Russian red....i like how its matte but not as matte as ruby woo which is a really gorgeous lipstick...i wear alot of red lipstick...i go to the beauty counter hoping to buy lipstick in another colour but come out with another shade of red...ruby woo, russian red, lady danger, chilli, all mac and all red shades...

  34. Absolutely GORGEOUS!! I do have a love for RR, but "Lady Danger" is also one of my faves. Shoot, so is "Ruby Woo" - all by MAC! It's hard to choose! That ear sparkly cuff is everything
