Mary Kay sent me some of their newest products to try out and review, and I lalaLOVE them! Here is a look I did wearing some of the goodies they sent me.
In this quick and easy makeup look I used Mary Kay Mineral Eye Color, Ultimate Mascara, NouriShine Plus Lip Gloss, and Mineral Cheek Color.
I love these eyeshadows! They are a long-lasting mineral-based shadow that provides crease-resistant coverage. They contain Vitamins A, C and E to help protect against wrinkle causing free radicals. The color pay off is great and they go on so easily! For this look I used Lavender Fog all over the crease, Sweet Plum in the outer crease, and vanilla eye shadow on the brow bone.
I used their mineral blush in "Shy" on the apples of my cheeks. I'm a huge fan of this blush! It's a high-quality mineral formula staying put for long-lasting wear.
I finished off the look with Mary Kay Ultimate Mascara. It's their most voluminous mascara that leaves you with longer looking lashes, and it doesn't clump! I've been using this stuff everyday since they sent me this product!
My favorite product from Mary Kay was the NouriShine Plus Lip Gloss! It's super lightweight, long-lasting and not sticky at all! The best part is it has antioxidants and botanical extracts that leave lips smoothed, protected and conditioned. I'm wearing CafÈ Au Lait
with this look.

ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing! I've actually not tried Mary Kay products.

I love that blush! I've never used any mary kay products but I would be very interested in trying them out :)
ReplyDeleteActually, my tip was from a Mary Kay consultant many years ago! :) She told me to soak a clean washcloth in HOT water, wring it out, and lay it lightly on your face after your makeup is finished for about a minute. The steam will make your face look more natural, set the look, and get rid of any "cakiness". Plus it feels amazing - still do it to this day!!!
ReplyDeletehi! I've just found your blog, you are really inspired me :) you are really beautifull woman..xoxo :)
ReplyDeleteUrban Decay Primer Potion. I can have my eye makeup on all day long and by the end of the day it still looks like I just put it on.
ReplyDeleteBest beauty trick I learned is to use a little bit of purple eyeshadow on my black eyeliner to make my brown eyes "pop" ;)
ReplyDeleteThe best tip I've learned is how to properly use highlighter and bronzer to contour! Awesome giveaway! :) suspyle@hotmail.com
ReplyDeleteLook so great on you, mama! I have used MK since I started wearing makeup, and still love a lot of their products today - it's the makeup I get most compliments on, which I think is funny b/c it's not as 'trendy' or pricey as some others I use. Can't beat a great classic! xo
ReplyDeleteYou have such a beautiful arch to your brow.Don't mean to be rude, but is it a natural arch or do you help it with product?
ReplyDeleteThe best tip I've learned it to HAC, highlighting and contouring! It is a makeup must! I've also learned its best to use a bronzer with a gray undertone to look more like a natural shadow and that using highlighting creams adds a dewy youthful glow. HAC makes it easy to accentuate your favorite features like your eyes and cheek bones, while hiding the ones you dislike, such as a bump in your nose or a large forehead. I'm in love with MaryKay, but who isn't. There is such a great range of colors and it's always really pigmented which I love.
ReplyDeleteGreat opportunity to try out MK makeup.
ReplyDeleteYou look amazing!!!! I've only tried MK one other time. I'd love the chance to try it out again.

The best tip is always wash your face before bed. I am 30 years old and only started this in the last 2 years but it is paying off!
ReplyDeleteThe greatest beauty tip I have learned the hard way is to get enough SLEEP! The greatest beauty tip that has been given to me is highlighter! A dab on the inner corners of your eyes, browbones, and chin can do wonders for your face.
ReplyDeleteput all your powdered make up on before your mascara so no powder gets stuck on your lashes

THe best beauty tip I've learned, is that a little goes a long way! : )
ReplyDeleteHi Doll,
ReplyDeleteI have few amazing beauty tips! 1st one I love is mixing liquid illuminator (Nars orgasm) in with foundation, to give your skin a dewy glow. Love it and always looks so pretty! Second favorite one is to ALWAYS wash your face before bed, exfoliate weekly and MOISTURIZE honey! Gotta keep that skin looking good. XOXO Hope I win <3 <3 <3
xo Asia
MOISTURIZE!
ReplyDeleteHey Andee! I know your a fan of Macs oak and cream o spice lipliners, which one do you recommend most? I can't choose!;-)
ReplyDeleteI Love that CafÈ Au Lait lip gloss! I received one as a freebee & it's now one of my faves. I'm also a big fan of the Lash Love mascara by Mary Kay & their black pencil liner. It's the only pencil liner I've used that doesn't end up in my crease.
ReplyDeleteBest beauty tip: never go to bed with makeup on!
ReplyDeleteYou are gorgeous Andee and have the most beautiful skin. Your makeup always looks stunning. I love lipstick and a tip I learned was to line my lips with lip liner, then brush them with a light coat of finishing powder before applying the lipstick. It really does help to keep my lipstick on longer and to not bleed into a few fine lines I have.
ReplyDeletevery pretty Andee
ReplyDeleteThe best tip I learned is to never to got bed with a face full of makeup. You look pretty!
ReplyDeleteGood skin = beauty! I do many of the above tips and my face sucks, so I'm gonna have to go with getting enough sleep and proper nutrition! Those are the 2 things I'm not good at, so for me, those are the secrets to good skin! Any make-up, little or lots, looks good on smooth skin!
ReplyDeleteThat less is more. I love doing neutral eyes with a red lip, or smoky eyes with a nude lip. Too much makeup is not a good look!
ReplyDeleteI love the little gold necklace! Where did you get it?
ReplyDeleteContouring is definitely the best beauty lesson I've learned. Thanks for sharing. I actually got approached to sell Mary Kay, but have never used any of their products!
ReplyDeleteBest beauty tip I have learned is to drink lots of water and make sure to wear sunscreen everyday!
ReplyDeleteMy best beauty tip that I have ever learned is to use liquid eye shadow such as Rimmel's Cool Touch Shadow or any other particularly in a silver or gold as a highlighter on your cheekbones! It really makes you look fresh and supplies you with an all day glow for super cheap!
ReplyDeleteTheir Ultimate Mascara is the BOMB. And all of these products look absolutely divine on you. Once again, you knock your makeup look outta the park!
ReplyDeleteI use a moisturizer under my makeup and switch out in summer months to wear a sunscreen under my makeup instead. It does the same trick and doesn’t dry my skin
ReplyDeleteGreatest beauty tip: don't stress. Stress is so hard on skin and can prematurely age you.

ReplyDeletethe best beauty tip I have learned is less is more, in all aspects of skincare and makeup. When I stopped using all those face products my skin cleared up all on its on. I like to do once a week at home steam facial and then a pore strip on my nose right after followed by really good moisturizer. :) love your blog! xoxo
ReplyDeleteWear green base to cover the red!

When I turned 26 in October, I made two promises to myself. One: I would wear heels more often. Two: I would take better care of my eyebrows. After a bit of research and beauty product investment, I have beautified my brows and have learned so many cool tips along the way! The best?
ReplyDeleteTo determine where your brow should start, hold a pencil or make-up brush along one side of your nose. Where it crosses the inner corner of your brow, that's where it should begin.
I love the clarisonic facial cleaner - makes my skin look a lot better!
